John L. Sullivan, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, passed away on February 24, 2024. He was born on November 14, 1938, leaving behind a legacy of love, courage, and unwavering dedication.
John's life was marked by his profound service to his country. He honorably served in the United States Army for 20 years, rising to the rank of Sergeant First Class. His bravery was evident through his record of over 100 jumps during his military service. John's commitment to protecting his nation and ensuring the safety of others will always be remembered.
Beyond his military career, John was a man of many passions. An avid outdoorsman, he found solace in fishing, hunting, and camping under the open sky.
One of John's greatest joys was embarking on motorcycle rides with his beloved wife, creating cherished memories that will forever hold a special place in her heart. His adventurous spirit extended to traveling in his RV, where he shared captivating stories of his escapades with those around him.
A true jack of all trades, John also served as a K9 trainer, demonstrating his innate ability to connect with and train these loyal companions. His expertise and passion left an indelible mark on both the animals he worked with and the people whose lives they touched.
Among his treasured moments were the large family Christmas gatherings he hosted with warmth and generosity. John's presence brought light and laughter to those around him, making every holiday season a memorable celebration filled with love and joy.
John L. Sullivan will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. While we mourn his loss here on earth, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness and strength.

Visitation: will be from 10:00 AM – until time of services on Monday, March 04, 2024.
Funeral Service: will being at 12:00 PM on Monday, March 04, 2024 from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home.
Interment with Military Honors: will begin at 2:00 PM at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
