Judith Ann Corvin

Miss Judith Ann Corvin, age: 72 Of: Waverly, TN Died: Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born June 23, 1948 in Clarksville, TN. Miss Judith graduated from Austin Peay State University in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education & Library Science. After graduation she went to work in Dover before settling here in Humphreys County. Miss Judith was a librarian to numerous children over the years at Waverly Elementary School and later Lakeview Elementary School where she would retire after a 35-year career in May 2004. After retirement, Miss Judith found her second love buying and selling antiques. She ran several booths at different antique malls over the years. Miss Judith’s wishes were to be cremated. Due to the ongoing pandemic and rising concern regarding Covid-19, there are no services scheduled at this time. The family requests memorials be made in memory of “Miss Judith” for the purchase of children’s books and materials to Humphreys County Library, 201 Pavo Avenue, Waverly, TN 37185 or to your local public library.
