Kellie Jeanelle Crowell Petersen, age 52

Of: Waverly, TN passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. She was born July 20, 1971, in Nashville, TN, to Kenneth Eugene Crowell, Sr. and Janice Kaye Redmon Crowell. Kellie was a graduate of Waverly Central High School Class of 1989. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Kellie was a Registered Nurse for Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. She attended Waverly Church of the Nazarene. Kellie loved boating, traveling, the beach, attending NASCAR Races, and going to concerts. She especially loved helping and taking care of others. She was vibrant, outgoing, and she never met a stranger. She was adored by her precious family and many friends. She will remain in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm – 4:00pm Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Kellie Petersen will be conducted at 4:00pm Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Daron Brown officiating. Active pallbearers will be Dana Gonsalves, Tony Ralston, Mike Sullivan, Andrew Poyner, Andy James, and Mateo Batchelder. Honorary pallbearers will be Waverly Central High School Class of 1989.

Interment will follow in Sanders Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
