Laverna "Jody" Miles

We are sad to announce the passing of Laverna “Jody” Miles (Moss) of Dickson. Jody died at age 75 on Jan 18th. Jody passed away surrounded by her loved ones after a battle with Dementia. 

She was a devoted and highly respected Insurance Adjuster for CNA. Jody’s commitment to excellence and her unwavering work ethic earned her the admiration of colleagues and clients alike. She approached every case with meticulous care and attention, ensuring that every client received the support they deserved during their most challenging moments.  The friendships she created through her years in the insurance industry lasted a true lifetime. 

Beyond her professional achievements, Jody was exceptionally smart and quick with numbers.  She enjoyed game shows, just about anything chocolate, and her dog, Tiny. With 8 children, 20 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, she was busy.  Her family remembers how smart and intelligent she was.

Visitation: will begin on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 12:00 PM – until time of services. 

Funeral Service: will begin at 3:00 PM on Monday, January 22, 2024 from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bobby Winters officiating.
