Mrs. Linda Jane Lynn Buchanan, age 85

Of: Waverly, TN passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Humphreys County Nursing Home. She was born January 20, 1939, in Centerville, TN to James Monroe Lynn and Kelmer Sisk Lynn.

Linda was a bus driver and later became a teacher’s aide for over 25 years with the Humphreys County School System. She was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Hurricane Mills, the Robert E. Lee Order of the Eastern Star, and the Buffalo FCE. She enjoyed many hobbies, some of which included quilting, sewing, crafting, and playing music.  

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 7^th and from 11:00 am until service time Thursday, February 8^th at Humphreys County Funeral Home. 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Buchanan will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, February 8, 2024, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Mullinax officiating.

Interment will follow in McKeel Cemetery.
