Mary Forehand Givens Age: 93 Of: Charlotte, TN. Died: Monday May 18, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Givens was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church where she served as Children’s Superintendent, a Sunday School Teacher, and a Delegate to the United Methodist Conference. She was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church in Charlotte, TN. She Graduated from Peabody College with a B.S. in Education and taught First Grade in the Metro Nashville Public School system for 30 years. She believed that “To Teach, Is To Touch A Life Forever”. She and her husband were active supporters for the Shriner’s Children Hospital. Graveside Service: for the family will be conducted on Thursday May 21, 2020 at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee. A public memorial service will be held later.
