Michael Wayne Morgan

Mr. Michael Wayne Morgan, age: 45 Of: New Johnsonville, TN Died: Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born July 11, 1975 in Pulaski, TN. Michael was a member and youth pastor at The Tabernacle Church in Waverly. He graduated from John A. Gupton Mortuary College in 1996 and received his Funeral Director and Embalmer’s licenses in 1997. Michael worked for Humphreys County Funeral Home and Carr & Erwin Funeral Home in Pulaski. Michael later went back to school to become a Paramedic and worked for Dickson County EMS, Giles County EMS and St. Thomas EMS. He was a member of the Humphreys County Sheriff’s Dept. Reserves and the TFDA. Michael enjoyed farming, fishing, gardening, going to baseball games, traveling especially to the mountains and watching Alabama Football. He had a love for life and enjoyed the occasional prank on his family and friends. Above all, Michael loved his family dearly. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00pm Monday, May 10th and from 11:00am until service time Tuesday, May 11th at Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00pm Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Caudle and Jon Maples officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
