Michael David Sarlo, Sr., born on May 23, 1960, entered the arms of Jesus on November 12, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, unwavering devotion to his family.

Michael was a man of remarkable character, a devoted husband and father who always prioritized the needs and happiness of his loved ones above his own. His selflessness and dedication were evident in everything he did, as he worked tirelessly, often without complaint, to provide for his family. His ability to give even when he had little left for himself is a testament to the generous spirit that defined his life.

In his youth, Michael discovered a passion for competitive shooting, where focus and precision came together. He derived immense joy from simple pleasures—swimming on warm summer days, fishing with his children, and sharing laughter around the dinner table. Each of these memories paints a vivid picture of a man who embraced life fully, living it with a lightness of spirit that was contagious.

Michael's laughter was a harmonizing thread that brought joy to his family. Whether it was a shared joke or a humorous story from his past, he had a remarkable ability to lift spirits and create bonds that would last a lifetime. 

As we remember Michael, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, a life dedicated to his family, and a spirit that knew no bounds. His absence will be profoundly felt, but his lessons of love, sacrifice, and joy will continue to resonate within the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Michael David Sarlo, Sr. will forever be remembered as a beacon of love and strength, and a reminder that the greatest treasures in life are not material, but the bonds we forge and the love we share. His spirit will live on in the laughter, love, and cherished memories he leaves behind.

Visitation: will begin on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 11:00 AM – until time of service at Spann Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Jessie Hood officiating.

Interment: will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery in McEwen, TN
