Milton "Tom" Carr

Milton "Tom" Carr, born on April 22, 1961, left this world on October 26, 2024, leaving behind a tapestry of love, laughter, and cherished memories woven through the lives of his family. Known affectionately as Tom, he was a devoted family man whose greatest joy came from his beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Tom had a remarkable ability to bring joy and laughter wherever he went. He had a playful sense of humor and a knack for being a lighthearted prankster, often leaving his loved ones in fits of laughter. Those who knew him well often marveled at his ornery side, which simply added to his charm. His quick wit and playful jests made every family gathering a delightful occasion.

A true cornerstone of his family, Tom was always present, offering help or support whenever it was needed. He illustrated what it meant to be there for one another, crafting a legacy of love that his family will carry forward. His deep affection for those he held dear was evident in his everyday acts and the countless memories they created together, particularly during their joyous camping trips when the kids were younger.

Tom will forever be remembered as the "coffee cup thumper" by his children and grandchildren—a playful title earned from his amusing habit of thumping his coffee cup lightly on their heads, a gesture that was as much a part of his loving personality as his humor was. The warmth of that moment resonates with laughter, not just as a silly memory, but as a symbol of his enduring affection.

As his family gathers to honor his life, they will recall not only his mischievous pranks and warm-hearted nature but also the invaluable lessons he imparted about love, resilience, and the importance of staying connected. The vacated space where Tom once stood will be filled with the echoes of his laughter and the profound love he shared with everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
