Mrs. Nancie Adams Hesson, age 85
Of Waverly, TN passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024, at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born December 23, 1938, in Erin, TN.
Nancie was a lifelong member of the Waverly Church of the Nazarene, where she dedicated her heart and spirit to her faith. Her commitment to her church was evident through her many contributions and the loving relationships she fostered within the congregation. Nancie’s warm smile and kind demeanor were constants in the lives of those around her, as she embodied the essence of compassion and service.
Known for her diverse talents, Nancie found great joy in painting, crocheting, and various crafts. Her passion for cooking was equally evident, where each meal she prepared was infused with love and care, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to share her table. In her quiet moments, Nancie relished the escape of a good book, immersing herself in stories that sparked her imagination.
Nancie was a cherished individual whose life was defined by her love for her family and her profound commitment to nurturing those around her. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Nancie dedicated herself wholly to her loved ones. Her pride in her family was evident in every aspect of her life. She will be remembered not only for her gentle kindness but also for her remarkable ability to bring people together, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Mrs. Hesson’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
