Nelda Beth Cowell

Mrs. Nelda Beth Cowell, age 71

Of New Johnsonville, TN passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. She was born May 6, 1953, in Waverly, TN.

Beth was a dedicated individual who devoted 18 1/2 years of her life working in the office at DuPont until her health began to wane. She was known for her unwavering commitment and strong work ethic during her time there.

In addition to her professional life, Beth was a cherished member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Her faith guided her actions, and Beth’s kind heart and selfless nature endeared her to many in the community.

Outside of work and church, Beth found joy in spending time with her loved ones, always putting her family first. Her selflessness and caring nature were evident in everything she did, making those around her feel cherished and valued.

In her leisure time, Beth found solace in one of her greatest passions - riding horses. The freedom she felt while on horseback brought her immense happiness and allowed her to connect with nature in a profound way.

During this time of remembrance, let us honor Beth’s memory by embodying the same compassion and dedication that she exemplified throughout her life.

Visitation will be held from 2:30pm until service time Saturday, May 25^th at Ebenezer Cemetery.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Cowell will be conducted at 3:00pm Saturday, May 25, 2024, in Ebenezer Cemetery with Bro. Ryne Lee officiating. Interment will follow.
