Peggy Lee Young, born on October 2, 1951, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, passion, and cherished memories. Throughout her life, Peggy demonstrated a profound commitment to her family, often prioritizing family gatherings above all else. Her enthusiasm for these occasions, particularly Christmas and Thanksgiving, created warm and vibrant environments where loved ones could come together to celebrate.
Peggy was known for her hardworking nature and loud personality, bringing an undeniable energy to any situation. Her dedication to her family extended beyond just gatherings; she took pride in being a good cook, often preparing delightful meals that brought joy to family and friends alike. Her cooking skills were matched only by her enthusiasm for sports, particularly football and NASCAR, where she found enjoyment in watching these events.
A devout individual, Peggy’s faith played a significant role in her life, guiding her actions and decisions. She was characterized by her God-fearing spirit, which resonated with those around her.
As we reflect on Peggy Lee Young's life, we celebrate the moments of laughter and love she shared with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Memorial Gathering: will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Noon at Spann Funeral Home.
