Rex Woodard

Mr. Woody Rex Woodard, age: 61

Of Waverly, TN passed away Friday, January 27, 2023, at his home.

Rex Woodard was born March 6, 1961, in Hobbs, New Mexico, to James Woodard and June Binkley Woodard. He was married to his soulmate, Susan Aline Stone Woodard, for 33 amazing years.

Rex was a retired self-employed Painting and Remodeling Contractor. He was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY. Rex earned his master’s degree in Business Administration from Western Kentucky University. He was a Beekeeper and a problem fixer. He was a longtime supporter of the Tennessee Titans and the Nashville Predators. Rex was an avid volunteer during Waverly’s flood recovery and drove to Houston, TX, his wife’s hometown, twice during and after Hurricane Harvey’s devastation. Rex traveled on numerous Mission trips to Central and South America, as well as Africa. He was a wonderful man who dearly loved spending precious time with his family and friends, and helping anyone in need. Rex will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Living Hope, 1805 Westen Avenue, Bowling Green, KY, followed by an opportunity to visit with the family.

   Alyssa, Jordyn, Ashton, and Dane
