Mr. Richard Lee Wheeler, age 70

Of: Waverly, TN passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, at AHC Waverly. He was born July 24, 1953, in Memphis, TN.

Richard was able to serve his community for 29 years before he retired from the City of Dickson Fire Department. One thing he loved to do was to tell his witty jokes and could just about make anyone laugh. His humor made it impossible to not enjoy the company of his presence. In his free time, he also enjoyed being able to take a trip to the Waffle House to drink coffee with his friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00pm Tuesday, April 9, 2024, and from 1:00pm until service time Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mr. Richard will be conducted at 3:00pm Wednesday, April 10, 2024, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Connor Smalley, Bro. Jeff Keele, and Bro. Jeremy McFarlin officiating.

Interment will follow in Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly.

   Nate Parker, Carlee Parker, Gabe Norris, and Levi Norris
