Rickey Lynn Larkin

Rickey Larkin, age 65, of McEwen TN, passed away on August 4, 2024, with his wife Carol Larkin by his side.

Rickey was born in Waverly to Margaret and Bill Larkin on July 13, 1959. He grew up in McEwen and later moved to Waverly. Rickey and Carol nearly lost everything during the Waverly flood in 2021 and were blessed to have family help them start over in Centerville, Tennessee. Even though Rickey enjoyed his time in Centerville over the past three years, he always considered Humphreys County his home. 

Rickey is survived by his wife, Carol Larkin… Daughter, Brandi Bryant… Sisters, Darlene Atwell (husband Charlie) and Regina Johnson… Grandchildren including Searra Jordan, Brooke Leathers and Gabriel Jordan… Brother-in-law, Jim Foster.

Rickey is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Larkin, father, Bill Larkin, sister, Rita Larkin, and recently by his sister, Faye Foster.

Rickey was married to his wife, Carol, for 34 years. He worked as a cook in his mother, Margaret Larkin’s various restaurants for many years. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and fixing grandfather clocks in his spare time. 

Rickey’s graveside service will be conducted on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 12:00pm at the McEwen Cemetery with Bro. William Brown officiating. Interment will follow.
