Mrs. Rita Richardson Stevens, age 74, of McEwen TN, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born January 20, 1950, in Nashville, TN. She loved reading novels and spending time with her friends and family. 

Mrs. Stevens is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Stevens of McEwen TN; sons, Forrest Trotter (Alicia) of Dickson, TN, Trey Stevens (Lori) of Tullahoma TN and Jon Stevens (Elisha) of Dickson TN; brother, Forest Cook (Shelley) of Cane Ridge, TN; sister, Sandra Brunner (David) of Chapel Hill, TN; grandchildren, Lindsay Hagstrom (Christian) of Tullahoma, TN, Zachary Stevens (Erin) of Tullahoma TN, Lyrin Trotter of Dickson, TN and Landree Trotter of Dickson, TN; two great granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Beulah and Elvis Jones; mother and father, Marjorie and Kenneth Cook; and nephew, Ryan Brunner.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00pm Tuesday, September 3rd and from 10:00am until service time Wednesday, September 4th at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Stevens will be conducted at 11:00am Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Zachary Stevens officiating.

Interment will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the McEwen Church of Christ, 9704 Hwy 70 E., McEwen, TN 37101.
