Mr. Robert “Bob” Wayne Carter, age: 70 Of: Waverly, TN Died: Monday, November 7, 2016 at his home. He was born April 20, 1946 in Bell, California. Mr. Carter was a Vietnam Navy Veteran and worked 25 years for TVA. During his employment, he worked as a Foreman in Instrumentation and served as a Consultant. He also worked as an Instructor at Nashville State Community College in Waverly. Mr. Carter was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Mustang Club of America. In his spare time, he enjoyed deer and turkey hunting and woodworking. Mr. Carter loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed. Visitation: will be held from 4:00 – 8:00pm Wednesday, November 9th and from 10:00am until service time Thursday, November 10th at Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services: for Mr. Bob Carter will be conducted at 1:00pm Thursday, November 10th in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Barry Fowler officiating. Interment: will follow in the Doughton-Pickard-Long Cemetery.
