Robert enjoyed a successful career as a lab supervisor for Teighert Construction, where he employed his innovative spirit and keen problem-solving skills. A gifted inventor, he took great pride in developing jigs to separate minerals, showcasing his remarkable ability to merge creativity with technical expertise. In addition to his professional work, Robert was a hard worker and talented builder, known for constructing the log house that became a cherished home for his family.

Throughout his life, he pursued various hobbies that reflected his passion for craftsmanship and nature. He had a particular affinity for woodworking and took joy in building Pinewood Derby cars for children, sharing his enthusiasm and skill with the younger generations. Additionally, Robert had a profound connection to horses, dedicating time to raising and training Arabian horses, for which he earned accolades including silver buckles and silver spurs—a testament to his dedication and love for the sport.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Cynthia Jensen, who resides in McEwen, Tennessee; his son, Justin Jensen, of Knoxville, Tennessee; and two daughters, Kalah Jensen of Bangor, Maine, and Kassandra Jensen, who lives in California. He is also mourned by his brother, Gary Jensen, of Custer, South Dakota, and his sister, Karen Morgan, of Oral, South Dakota.

He was predeceased by his father, Carl Adam Jensen, and his mother, Bettie Leah Sehestedt Jensen, along with his brother, Kevin Jensen. Robert's legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the values he instilled in his family. His remarkable journey is remembered with deep respect and admiration by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
