Robert “Bobby” Eugene Whittington Age: 78 Of: Cumberland Furnace, TN Died: Sunday, December 16, 2018 at his daughter’s home. Mr. Whittington loved watching his Grandchildren play sports, love ballgames, fishing, model airplanes and woodworking. He took great pride in serving in the military, where he served 7 years in the Air Force. He continued his passion for the military and retired from the U.S. Army Department of Defense Corp of Engineering. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church where his Grandfather, Rev. William Robert Johnson “Pappy” was the Pastor. Visitation: 12-3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Spann Funeral Home. Funeral Service: for Mr. Whittington will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne Smith officiating.
