Mr. Russell Lee Holmes, age: 58

Of: New Johnsonville, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Russell Holmes was born December 1, 1964, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Jimmie Franklin Holmes, Sr. and Mae Elizabeth Harris Holmes. He was married to Betty May O’Neal Holmes. Russell was an avid lover of Harley Davidson motorcycles, Peterbilt trucks, fishing, turkey hunting, and he was a huge jokester. He especially loved spending time with his precious family and his Doberman Pinschers.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and Monday, March 27, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at the Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 27, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Alinda Bohanon and Bro. Joe Rhodes officiating.

Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery in New Johnsonville, TN

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Humphreys County Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
