With an abundance of charisma and a heart brimming with love, Shelly Ashworth brought an unfathomable amount of joy and laughter to the lives of everyone she encountered. Born Michelle Lynn Stecker on January 13, 1973, in Farmington Hills, MI, Shelly was a vibrant soul whose adventurous spirit was evident in every aspect of her life. To know Shelly was to experience the full spectrum of life's beauty, as her infectious laughter and inimitable sense of humor could transform even the most ordinary moment into something extraordinary.
Shelly was a dedicated property manager in the commercial sector, a role that leveraged her inherent organizational skills and keen eye for detail. But her true passion lay outside the confines of her desk. Shelly was a self-proclaimed 'daddy's girl', cherishing her father's old truck as a tangible connection to the man she loved and admired. An enthusiastic bargain shopper, she reveled in the thrill of the hunt for the perfect deal. Yet her most cherished moments were those spent with her beloved children and grandchildren, where she imparted her wisdom, love, and zest for life.
A lover of the outdoors, Shelly found solace and joy spending time 'yakin' on the creek and watching NASCAR races, her competitive spirit unbridled and contagious. Her natural talent for cooking, specifically grilling, was a testament to her versatility and creativity. Howie, her loving husband, would always vouch for her pork steaks as the best he'd ever tasted. Shelly's love for life and people was so profound that it extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of everyone she met.
To further honor Shelly's beautiful life, we encourage you to leave your precious memories and upload photos to her memorial page. Let us remember Shelly for her contagious laughter, her adventurous spirit, her love for everyone, and her time ‘yakin. Let us remember her as she was - vibrant, loving, funny, and truly one of a kind.
