Shirley Dreaden

June 8, 1936 — August 30, 2013

Age: 77 Of: Waverly, TN Died: Friday, August 30, 2013 at Three Rivers Hospital. Mrs. Dreaden graduated in 1954 from McClatchy High School where she was a classmate of Supreme Court Justice, Anthony Kennedy. She later attended American River Junior College and Austin Peay State University. Mrs. Dreaden was a member of the Waverly church of Christ, the Humphreys County Historical Society, Mayflower Society, and served as Regent of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution. She was a talented artist, avid genealogist and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Visitation: will be held from 5 – 8pm Saturday, August 31 and from 12pm until service time Sunday, September 1 at the Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services: for Mrs. Dreaden will be conducted at 3pm Sunday, September 1 in the Humphreys County Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Jeff Keele officiating. Interment: will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery. Survived by: Husband: Reed Dreaden of Waverly Daughters: Janine Langley (Andrew) of Collierville, TN, Leslie Phares (Lt. Col. David Phares (US Army Ret.)) of Morgantown, WV Sisters: Rita O’Connor of Sacramento, CA, Phyllis Ratliff of Camarilla, CA, Freddye Lambert of Sacramento, CA Grandchildren: Ashlee Baker (Caleb), Bryan Cole, Taylor Cole, Hunter Langley, Alexandria Phares, Reed Phares, Riley Phares Great Granddaughter: Campbell Baker Preceded in death by: Parents: Harold and Hazel Heathington Campbell In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the local American Cancer Society.
