Susan Clara McCormick, affectionately known as Suzy, was a beacon of warmth and love to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Born on November 27, 1958, in Highland Park, MI, Susan spent her 65 years on this earth as a dedicated wife, loving mother, supportive friend, and doting grandmother. Her life was a testament to her dedication to her family and the joy she found in the simplest things, like tending to her flowers and cooking hearty meals for those she loved.

A true homemaker at heart, Susan created a home that was not just a place, but a feeling. It was in Cumberland Furnace, Tn., Tennessee, where she and her beloved husband, Alfred Jr., built a life of love and cherished memories. Her home was a sanctuary where family and friends could always find comfort, laughter, and the most delicious meals.

Susan was the heart and soul of her family. Family gatherings were her favorite, her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and her home was her sanctuary. No occasion was too small for Susan to turn into a celebration with her loved ones. Her love for her family was evident in every meal she cooked, every holiday she hosted, and every moment she spent with her grandchildren.

The family will be hosting a memorial service at her home on June 8th starting at 12:00 PM.
