Thomas William Story, of Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the age of 86. He died peacefully in his home alongside his beloved family. He was born January 21, 1934 in Dickson County to Annie Ezell and Thomas Marion Story.
He was an avid farmer, raising tobacco and cattle for his entire life. He was a retired school bus driver after 35 years. He was on the Board of Directors at Farm Bureau for many years. He also worked for FSA measuring tobacco, later joining their Board of Directors as well. He served in the The United States Armed Forces during the Korean War.
He was married to the love of his life, Jane Wall Story for 63 years. He was a lifelong member of Friendship Church of Christ.
Visitation: will be from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the Spann Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 from the Chapel of the Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Blake Douthitt officiating.
Interment: in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery
