Veronica Clara Geissler

Veronica C Geissler (Grandma Ronnie) went to her eternal home in Heaven with Jesus on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, after a battle with cancer.  Veronica was born February 28, 1946, in Menomonie WI, the daughter of the late Lucille (McIntyre) and Arnold Geissler.   Veronica loved holidays, shopping, spending time with her family, and visiting with her neighbors.  She enjoyed playing Yahtzee and her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren and spoiling her great-grandchildren.  No matter where she went, she was always the best-dressed person around. 

She is survived by her three children, Terri (George) Kocourek, Tennessee; Tracy Lerch, Tennessee; Troy (Channa) Lerch, Florida.  Nine grandchildren, Aaron (Kayla) Kocourek, Jeremy (Ashlyn) Kocourek, Joshua Peterson, Travis (Stephani) Herman, Collin (Kimberly) Herman, Ethan Tastsides, Jared Tastsides, Samuel Tastsides, Graysen Lerch. Eighteen great-grandchildren, former spouse Arlan Lerch, and two brothers, Richard (Mary) McIntyre, and Dale (Joan) Geissler, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and other relatives and friends.

Veronica was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Dennis; one nephew, David; one niece, Suzanne. 

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 1, at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI.  Visitation 10:00 - 11:00 am, Funeral Service 11 am with the burial to follow at Haywood Cemetery.
