Mr. William “Billy” Eugene Goodwin, age 66

 Of: Waverly, TN passed away Monday, July 15, 2024, at home. He was born December 15, 1957, in Long Beach, CA to Marlyn Lee Bray Goodwin and James Gilbert Goodwin.

 Billy was a truck driver for 38 years. As a truck driver, his dedication knew no bounds. His unwavering work ethic and love for the open road were truly unparalleled. Whether navigating through busy city streets or cruising down endless highways, he approached each day with a sense of purpose and drive that inspired all who knew him.

Billy was also known for his adventurous spirit and love for motorcycles. Riding across open roads brought him immense joy and a sense of freedom that was truly unmatched. When he wasn't cruising on his beloved bike, he could be found enjoying a game of pool with friends, showcasing his skill and sharp wit.

He was not just a man of titles or accomplishments; he was a beacon of kindness and a pillar of strength for his family and friends His warm smile and gentle demeanor could light up even the darkest room, bringing joy and comfort to all those around him.

A devoted member of the Open Bible Assembly, Billy's faith was unwavering, and his love for his community knew no bounds. He tirelessly worked towards spreading positivity and compassion, leaving behind a trail of goodwill that will continue to inspire generations to come.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Open Bible Assembly in McEwen, Tennessee.
