William "Willie" Edward Long

Age: 75 Of: Hurricane Mills, TN Died: Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Horizon Medical Center. Mr. Long graduated from McEwen High School in 1957. He was a member of the McEwen Masonic Lodge # 525 and a 50+ year member of the IBEW Local #429. Mr. Long was a past President of the McEwen Lions Club and past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge. He owned Judy’s Sales in Waverly and played Santa Claus in the Christmas Parade for 10 years. Visitation: will be held from 3 – 8pm Friday, September 19 with a Masonic Service at 7pm and from 9am until service time Saturday, September 20 at the Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services: for Mr. Long will be conducted at 11am Saturday, September 20 in the Humphreys County Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Alinda Bohanon officiating. Interment: will follow in the Sanders Cemetery.
